And the theme of the day is……. ‘SPEAK WITH GOOD PURPOSE’!!! Words have a great influence on relationships, and campers learned powerful ways to speak, which enhances their communication skills and also learned how to Mind Map. Campers experienced paired trust falls and Body pass. It was grateful to see that campers are voluntarily going up on stage singing and dancing with their friends.

Today’ key is ‘FLEXIBILITY’. We are awake and full of energy as we played our round of X-game called the “handshake” . We watched a video of “who moved my cheese”, and surprisingly changed got relocated to new teams and team leaders. This exercise continued throughout the day as to test our ability and reactions to “change”. We learned about ourself through smart stations. We have an afternoon learning difference academic skills, such as Note-taking, mystery words and test tips. In the evening, we talked about labels and rejection talk.

The key of today is ‘INTEGRITY’, meaning that our actions and behaviours are aligned. Campers continued with Academic Rotation, accelerating their learning speed in school. From the Main Room we broke into our Academic Teams and attended Quantum Reading and Quantum Writing. This took us through lunch. During the evening, ‘Parent Talk’ explored the parent-child relationship, encouraged campers to appreciate their beloved parents.

Typhoon Nuri failed to dampen our enthusiasm and spirit today! We started the morning with the key of the day, “Ownership”, taking responsibility for all that we do. That was followed by a Creativity and Critical Thinking piece. When we heard the typhoon was heading our way, we moved to our respective dorms and stayed in there for the rest of the day and evening. We continued our learning with goal setting and worked on how we would break those barriers that could prevent us from achieving them. We finished the evening with shares and the wind still blowing strong inside and outside!!
